Additional note: I have issue with the pacing of the quests.
I get that the reason they push the AR unlock quest to be the first one is so that people can unlock it ASAP, but I think it makes the quest afterward have less impact on me.

BUT 1 GEAR PIECE PER WEEK SUCK!
The story: 7/10 everything after the 2rd AR are good but not great. The moment where Prishe tell a young singer about her friend Ulmia is really good though.

And don't get me wrong here, the FFXIV remixs/rearranged songs are great, but I'm kinda getting tired of them. (Mostly due to the dungeons' final boss theme in 6.x patch)
Also, I want this alliance raid to feel close to the OG as much as possible, especially for the Shadow Lord fight.

I can see your point, but for me, after listening to the OST from the other games that got FFXIV-fied in the similar manner for so long, it's nice that they keep the OG song for this one.
As someone who haven't play FFXI before, the BGM makes me feel like I'm in FFXI.
