Egyptian walking onions are probably the easiest plant I've ever grown. Just covered bulbils with straw in early winter. Nothing else ever done.

Spanish Roja garlic bulbil update. Tip: Grow the tiny bulbils thick together like grass at first to save space. Once it gets crowded, replant with space between each.
