They keep saying those things without any proof. The sad thing is that they've trained their cult to accept things like this.

Further context: community based outpatient clinic so no ER, no inpatient, no one living there. After the police left, someone muttered sarcastically about "political progress". No idea who said, could have been someone else waiting room. So I'm reading the situation as not within normal bounds.

Well of course he wants to cut it. He doesn't want anyone else to have say in those decisions but him and his goons.

I'm glad there is support out there, but the article seems to only briefly acknowledge that the systems in place create these issues. The way mentors approach graduate students has to change in order to prevent the psychological stresses they face.

Love the bit at the end, where Trump wants to set up a new agency to do the work another government was doing before he gutted it and cut funding. Because he's saving money. 🙄
