That’s was 20 years ago though (and assuming you count Bloomberg as a Republican mayor, that’s not quite accurate either, as we understand Republicans in 2026). Yes, she needs NYC to outvote upstate NY but if Gillibrand can do it, it won’t be that hard for AOC either.
