In general, anything between 100-200K will be looked at as goldilocks and the market will likely rally. A strong number may temper rate cut expectations cause the stock market to sell. A super weak number will likely initially rally the market as rate cut hopes spike,

The monthly #NonFarmPayrolls Report will be posted on Friday at 8:30am ET. Expectations are for 187,000 jobs to be added. Last month Non Farm Payrolls came in at 216k. The 10 year yield has fallen back below 4% and investors continue to believe the Federal Reserve will cut rates 6x this year.

The monthly #NonFarmPayrolls Report will be posted on Friday at 8:30am ET. Expectations are for 187,000 jobs to be added. Last month Non Farm Payrolls came in at 216k. The 10 year yield has fallen back below 4% and investors continue to believe the Federal Reserve will cut rates 6x this year.

Dollar broke epic support (up-sloping trend line). It now sits at 100.75 on the $DXY a minor support level. If this gives way, downside is to 99.50.
Implications of a weak currency can be inflationary. Extreme examples are Venezuela, Zimbabwe, Argentinia.
