There is nothing in the laws of the game about "getting the ball". You can 100% touch the ball and still commit a foul.

The keeper got a tiny touch on the ball. That's not getting the ball. Touching the ball is not a get out of jail free card for committing a foul.

If the referee has to watch it 3000 times then it wasn't a clear and obvious error.
