That last scene with Asriel in Undertale, the optional one you get if you backtrack all the way to the beginning after fighting him, it feels like a thematic setup to Deltarune almost, idk, I get that feeling replaying this a short while after a boss in Chapter 4 where there was no merciful option

I have an odd fascination with this film, I caught an airing of it around 2012? and befitting of its title, it really captured the feeling of "summer" in a way I have been trying to capture ever since, I deeply required a film that has this "vibe" I should rewatch it this summer...

Watched the Czechoslovak film Valerie and Her Week of Wonders from 1970, really beautiful gothic folk horror, I loved it, such beautiful set design and costuming, I loved all the themes of girlhood in a religious community and how honestly horrific it is

These two lines in Deltarune are making me think a lil, especially since the latter is after Kris was forced to dress masc at church,& takes place the morning after They slashed Toriel's tires, it seems like a silly line about being forced to wear tacky clothes but we know Toby has an eye for detail

I figured you knew that! I was just making a lil joke because the amount of people who try to connect it to Undertale in anything other than soul is STAGGERING, like what on earth do they think "parallel" means! I learned it in math class for gosh sake, I saw this this morning and it irritated me...

Finding out that [THAT BOSS] in Deltarune is not a forced loss encounter, and is in fact, someone you can beat sends shivers down my spine, especially knowing people have beaten this thing.

I can kinda see what you mean with that, he has a very distinctive face, his eyes especially, makes him look like he's up to something...I think it's the fact that he has a really youthful haircut and voice but a very chiseled face, makes him look mature
