I’m a cancer pt with MS & I’m struggling. With the changes to health ins availability, the cost of just living and w a spouse who also has cancer, I’m out of energy, out of optimism, out of fucks left to give. I’m exhausted. The political bs means nothing when you’re fighting to survive.

If you are a female over 30, pls make lung cancer screening part of your wellness routine. Women are the fastest growing demographic for lung cancer. I never smoked and my lung cancer was discovered by accident during a stress test. Early detection saves lives.

Well last night I got some pretty devastating news. My lung CT is highly suspicious for cancer and I’ll need a lung biopsy. I’m terrified.

I went for a hike at a local park today. Encountered a mom & little girl swimming. Little one ran up and tried to give me her swimmies! “It’s ok lady, put these on - you can swim wif us!” I thanked her - she said, “You’re all alone - I didn’t want you to feel left out!” Oh my heart…
