Otis enjoying a bath in the sun… nothing he likes more than a tummy rub and a cuddle. Ok, he’s now nearly 250lbs and a bit of a lump but he’s as loyal and loving as any “pet” you could mention.

Definitely not a cake decorator but my granddaughter wanted a unicorn cake for her 5th birthday so I had to do my best! Better from a distance but tasted great and granddaughter very happy. Hope I have set a precedent… goodness knows what it will be next year!

We have three pet pigs, rescued from the meat trade. They are fantastic companions, friendly, funny and very clever. That these creatures are slaughtered in their millions every day is a stain on humanity and our right to exist.

For just over a year I have been on a completely plant based diet. By cutting out meat and dairy I have saved the equivalent resources listed below. That’s just me, a 66 year old nothing, actually making a significant contribution to my environmental impact just through my food choices.
