I'm officially old. I had to take some pictures for the property manager of the place I rent and I got my finger in the corner of about half the shots.

So apparently one of the first things that our new felon wants to do after swearing to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States" is sign an executive order that ignores the Constitution. How many days are left until he's gone?

So either TikTok isn't really a national security risk despite what we were told by people who had access to top secret information OR popularity has become more important than national (and personal) security.

One of my big surprises of 2024 was that we are actually making a lot of progress (albeit messy and with a great deal of argument) in the science of the origin of life on Earth.

Hopefully everyone is getting what vaccines they can before things (possibly) get more difficult. Got my pneumonia vaccine today since they recently changed the guidelines to a lower age.
