Is always the risk with SCE - but at least they are super quick to paint, second hand market, and they are not always hyping the new. For instance Yanastra is now cool and so are Palladors are really strong. Aesthetic is always a solid reason not to do something!

I would suggest destruction to widen out - In my head Gitz have the widest collection and are in a reasonably good place currently. Although if you are looking for a smaller project I would suggest Stormcast - new book looks solid, not many models and a really good second hand market.
