My pleasure! Though I think we're all at different points of the road riding ponies, bikes, skates... so what works for me might not work for you Having said progress is progress. One thing I can do is ask you in 4 weeks if you notice any improvement, sort of to keep you motivated 😉

:-) I have! And I think its good up to a point, Im not sure I learned the patterns or the actual puzzles, since its a fixed set of positions its hard to judge. My concern with puzzle rush is it might focus on one pattern, there's no guarantee in a session you will go over all of them

Tough... first I thought Qc7 but that fails, then I moved to Rc8 and it gets messy but if white exchanges everything on d5 I believe its an equal endgame after taking on c2 and b2. So if Rc8 Bb3 Bc5 Qd2 Bxe2 Qxe2 and Im not sure if this is holdable for black...

Been teaching kids for many years at the local club, one thing that I always tell parents is that kids need to have fun first, chess may be a way for the kid to connect to the parent and do it as a means to an end, but if the kid has fun they will do chess regardless. Sorry for the rambling 🙂
