Among other things, I like Detlev Peukert’s work on youth, either the essay in Bessel’s Life in the Third Reich or from Inside the Third Reich. It’s older, but Peukert made an impression on me as a student. I like it.

I’ve been tempted to try using the Black Orchestra board game - I’ve heard it’s quite good - but I haven’t actually played it myself.

I use Sophie Scholl-The Final Days. It works well. Students often identify with someone their own age.
