Part 2:
LaoZi was revered as an ancestor of Tang emperors who supported development of Taoism. It was believed that "those who are good as swords are refined and well prepared."
During the second generation of Tang, many are good at external arts (外功), but those good at inner arts (内功)are limited.

Starting a series on my understanding of "The Way of Taoist Sword".

Part 1:
Sword and sword play was created by 'Yuan Shi Tianzun', the highest of the 'three pures' using the 5 elements of wood, fire, soil, gold and water.

There are total of 81 styles were inherited by PanGu then FuNiuShi (Laozi).
