Gov. Greg Abbott vetoes THC ban, calls for regulation instead
The move infuriated Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, the powerful head of the Senate, who had called the ban among his top five bills over 17 years in the Legislature.

I heard the alcohol industry is expecting an overall revenue loss of -25% in 2025 due to slow down in global consumption. That is 1/4th of their revenue gone!

I give big alcohol companies until April (4/20) to start acquiring or launching cannabis drinks from hemp. #cannabis #alcohol #hemp #drinks

Texas has introduced a bill to legalize cannabis. If passed (doubtful), Texas would become one of the largest cannabis markets in the country by revenue (after California and New York but before Florida and Michigan). Data already exists to prove as Texas is the largest intoxicating hemp state.

- Expands scientific research by easing regulatory barriers
