This year marks the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Many survivors of the bombing have become worldwide peace activists including Nobel Peace prize winner and bomb survivor, Setsuko Thurlow. A 2024 movie, "Vow from Hiroshima" recounts Setsuko's life of activism.
