first trotsky uses a composition fallacy to justify his 'retreat' then at the end slips in his policy of 'leaving the collectives'
January 10, 2025 at 2:46 AM
the law of socialism is proportionate or balanced development of the economy. trotsky attempts [without evidence] to smear soviet planned production with two accusations: unbalanced development and inevitable crises.
January 10, 2025 at 2:43 AM
trotsky or his followers doesnt seem to ask why the proletariat would preserve overproduction and uneven development [which are inevitable if markets are regulators], or markets for labor, means and materials of prod.
January 10, 2025 at 2:42 AM
in other words divert production away from developing the forces of production [machine building and infrastructure] and toward small consumables. kruschevites advocated this years later too
January 10, 2025 at 2:38 AM
trostsky's poor definition of planned production, nothing about transformation of property, labor and accumulation relations.
January 10, 2025 at 2:36 AM
a universal revisionist slogan 'let us retreat in order, the better to advance'. the assumption here is that we have the same long term objectives but differ on methods, which is false.
January 10, 2025 at 2:34 AM
trotskys 'gigantism' point misrepresents intention of soviet planning. electrification [building power plant etc] and military industry were crucial for the coming fascist war. he also doesnt mention that he was directly working with the fascist bloc.
