i spent so long getting the anatomy of his chest meticulously correct, only to slather gold paint all over it. it happens. but here it is if you're curious
Same drawing as the one posted above, but the gold flecks of paint plastered across Maidos' chest in both sprites have been removed, revealing the abs beneath.

Been postin lore snippets now and then on twitter, but heres some Hunter Maidos lore: (tm) He started hunting when the citadel fell 50 years ago when he got viciously scarred by qurio, and the bloodblight he was inflicted with gave him a sanguine hunger.

Maidos sits down, legs flared out, a longsword belonging to Malzeno resting against one of his thighs. He's holding it loosely in his right hand, propping his head up with a curled fist as he stares to the distance, in melancholic contemplation. Miscellaneous doodles of Maidos, four in total. In order, top from bottom, left to right: 1: Maidos looks upon the body of a kushala daora, back turned to the camera. 2: Maidos begrudgingly holds up his carving knife. 3: He slashes at the neck of the deceased dragon, drawing blood. his expression is far more vicious, fangs seeped in blood. 4: The aftermath of Maidos' vampiric hunger. Blood coats his bottom lip and pours down onto his chest. His expression is solemn, as if he hates this is how he is-- and holds a handkerchief, lifting it as to wipe away some of his mess.

He's got a hand raised and he's being bashful as Rathal reaches for his hand. A small doodle of a happy lunagaron and a scarred malzeno rests in the top left corner. Simple line sketch of Maidos, wearing the masculine Demonlord outfit from Iceborne. Yogin, in the Mossgharl Palico outfit, is noticable on his left. The drawing is left rather abstract beyond the main focus of the armor, the dracula-inspired coat and cloak. Maidos in the feminine Demonlord outfit present in Iceborne. Shadowheart says: "When meeting new people remember to keep it light and casual. use our conversation starters if you get into trouble." He responds: "Light and Casual, got it." In the second panel, he is seen rolling a critical failure in a conversation roll with Auntie Ethel, and he blurts out: "IM GOING INTO LABOR". Ethel looks on in confusion. Lastly, Astarion shouts out "he's pulling the pregnancy card THIS EARLY?" while Karlach, with binoculars observes and says "if he u-turns the topic back to cardboard manufacturing we might clutch this"

funny enough i did draw a comparison awhile ago but that... is also outdated hairstyle wise lol. He was meant to be shorter, more bratty and cold-hearted. That shifted pretty quickly

earliest sketch of Maidos, circa 2020ish. He sports sleeves and a cowl, as well as short, emo-esque messy hair, and two shoulderpads instead of the one. His boots are needlessly detailed, composed of a mixture of leather and metals. Maidos as he is in his current iteration. He's gotten more fluffier hair, the scar is no longer a small sliver down his eye and takes up a large portion of the face, and he wears purple robes ontop of a black bodysuit with golden gauntlets and one singular shoulderpad on the right.

a redraw of three panels from the infamous comic "Ariel Needs Legs" by Neil Cicierega. Rathal and Maidos are walking on a beach looking at a sunset. Rathal pipes up "However Flareon is the only fully evolved fire-type pokemon that cannot learn Solar Beam" Followed by him showing off a flute and going "Yeah i'm working on a medley of all 17 pokemon themesongs". In the final panel, Rathal is playing the flute directly into Maidos' face, getting spit all over him. The flute sounds terrible, described as a "FEEEEEEEEEEEE" noise. Maidos, thinking to himself goes: "Ohhh, i can't not fuck him". Two page panel of Maidos with a side profile looking straight ahead, and Rathal with big vibrant eyes and a blush looks at him. Maidos then gets irritated and goes "Im not calling you 'good boy', Rath, that Dragon Piercer was shit!' Rathal is trying to put on a cool face but is disappointed as seen by the tear streaming down his side. Rathal and Maidos sitting in a bubble bath together. Rathal is blowing bubbles into Maidos' face and they getting stuck to him. Both look happy and Maidos has a slight blush, smiling.
