Along there came a silly well
Where all could drink and many dwelled
And there we learned and sang and taught
I liked this party quite a lot

It seemed a moment I was free
I found my words I found my glee
Found love and others just like me
Oh it was such a lovely dream.

I smiled and laughed, this little man.
Who braved for food, almost from hand,
He crept up slowly in the night,
As was his own sworn way.

I gave a click to call him near,
But surely humans he did fear,
The dark carried him from our sight,
To feast another day.

Others a warming flame,
Sometimes love is like the lightning strike.
Or maybe healing rain.

At times love can seem out of reach
Sometimes so very close
But of all love what I would preach
