So glad you've been busy and having fun with so many different activities. It's sad that you don't get to hang out online as much, but it's understandable. I don't mind seeing these posts form time to time just to know that you're doing OK.

Self-sabotage at its finest right there. I feel ya. Now, imagine jumping between Megabonk, Ball X Pit, and Slots & Daggers... Yeah, I am doomed.

I think the real culprit is open worlds, RTX, and this endless pursuit of hyperrealistic graphics. The moment we switch to something a little less intensive we're gonna see these dev times drop off significantly. But... that's not happening. Moore's law seems to be dead tho, so there's hope.

Project planning just sucks, even in the most structured AAA studios. Someone decides that something needs changing, because they didn't test and iterate on it enough at an earlier stage, and everything goes wrong. I've seen it happen so many times and it hurts my soul.
