120fps with a 2070S and i7-9700k

Graphics set to high, frame generation is on WITH DLSS.

Before my GPU teardown/cleanup I was hitting 85c on my 2070S and 99c on the i-9700k in Baldurs Gate 3.

Now, maxing out at 65c on the GPU and 60c on the cpu.

I'm incredibly happy! Thought a new card was going to be needed, but I was able to fix the card.

How did everyone spend their black Friday?

I spent it replacing the fans on my EVGA 2070S.

System running optimal.

10/10 would recommend it before spending more $$$ on a new card.

Woke up to the sound of bad bearings in my 2070S this morning. Spent a good portion of the morning taking the thing apart and giving it a thorough cleaning.

Card seems to be running well after replacing the thermal paste, but the fan is still having issues. Replacement fans ordered.

My first gaming 'cloud save' was writing down a password on paper.

Im here! This place already feels more mellow and fun. I dig it.
