Final update: Turns out the battery just needs to drain until around 93% or so and now it charges like normal. Crisis averted.
Addendum to this: To be more specific, the battery won't charge to 100%, and whenever I'm NOT gaming the CPU is very slow.
Ok, Windows 11 sucks dick. Got a new compy and nothing is working right.
