This is Ramses. He was my first cat. He was /not/ what a starter cat should have been. If he liked you, you were subject to his protection from people he didn't like. And he didn't like very many people.

He left us suddenly on January 21st, 2017 after eighteen years of terrorizing my friends.

I'm honestly so-so on the Lore War story arc in the current Star Trek comic continuity, but, with that said, "Shaxs' Worst Day Ever" has been fantastic. And it pulls no punches.
Shaxs from Star Trek: Lower Decks is stabbing someone in the back while saying, "Hey! FASCISTSAYSRARRGH!" The individual begin stabbed is wearing a VISOR (like LaForge from TNG), and says "RARRGH," to which Shaxs responds, "Hah!"

Today is Nefertari's Gotcha Day.

She's been with us seven years, now.

She's not a perfect kitty, but I don't think she has a mean bone in her body, and my life would be much worse without her in it.

QWERTY had his first vet appointment this morning. Nefertari has forgiven me for bringing him home afterwards.

Nefertari (Nef) fell asleep as I was holding her at an adoption event. There was no fighting that.

We'd been looking for a new kitty for close to three months at that point, and she was the first one to really sink her claws into my heart.

This statement essentially acknowledges that 45 is, in fact, an inhuman political machine.
