If the game expired, the record will state:
- person who didn't make their turn: DNF (did not finish)
- person waiting for their turn: winner by default

Maybe separate stats for those two new status.

Ahh! I was going to suggest this.

Another approach is to offer a timer for moves during game creation.

So, say, I clicked Play Game, I'll be asked for an option if I want a 15 min, 30 min, 24 hr game, or 365 days, game.

Then the system tries to find a match or create a new one.

That's a very awesome mashup.

I also run—mainly for fitness and fun—but I can see @ngerakines.me attestation framework used by race organizers to validate race records. It's Athlinks (athlinks.com) on ATproto!

I'm suspecting firehose.games is secretly on it. There are two other unannounced games on their website. Oh, and they just opened for testing tictactoe.firehose.games.

Chess shouldn't be that far behind (and hopefully Othello/Reversi too).

It's sad that an Agent's reso deployments, and presence in the game, simply disappear once their family deletes their account. At least let it live for at least 7 days as a final farewell.

@ingress.com , I hope as you head for the 14th year, we'll see some program about this.

In the early days, mainly Gen1 and Gen2 MMOGs, the definition is more technical and cleanly defined.

SecondLife was considered an MMOG. Entropia Universe was also considered an MMORPG. Today, you'll be "educated" that those are Virtual Worlds, not an MMOG.
