Junjiro is my boy and if anyone touches him in this game I’m going to DESTROY them.

I’m having fun with Shadows at the moment - still barely scratching the surface though.

Finished Adolescence tonight - what a harrowing show. Stephen Graham is one of those actors who *always* puts in a phenomenal performance, and one who you immediately want to see more of.

Daredevil: Born Again is brilliant. This episode almost got a tear out of me. Great to see some old faces back… #Daredevil

Did Respawn hear me? A turn-based Star Wars game incoming?

Be still my beating heart.
Is it so much to ask that we get X-COM 3 soon?

Is it even more to ask about that Star Wars game that was rumoured to be similar to X-COM?!?

Here’s the problem - I’m going to Japan in early April. Maybe it’ll be on sale by the time I return…
Alright - I’m going to do my best to wait to get Assassins Creed Shadows…but it looks pretty good to me! Wait, and be sensible. Wait, and be sensible.

I’m still enjoying Marvel Rivals and have started to develop my “mains”, but I still need to put in some work using Vanguards.

Using Penny is simple enough but not suited to every game-type, so I need to experiment more with the tanks that need to push objectives.

A shame for United to be out of the FA Cup but hardly surprising this season.

A pleasant surprise is how everyone seems to be backing Zirkzee at the moment. I was at the Newcastle game where he was subbed off early - the fact that he’s kept trying and is putting in performances is admirable.

Watching America’s leaders embarrass their country is fascinating but depressing. But it’s more depressing seeing all the other people in power pander to their madness.

I finished Dragon Age: The Veilguard recently. I really enjoyed it, but I think I made a mistake in taking a break from it over a holiday and then when I came back to it I lost my rhythm. I’d intended to do multiple playthroughs, but it started feeling long.

That being said…

Oh dear Manchester United.

Let’s hope we suffer now for a brighter future. Problem is we’ve been suffering for years.

Looking forward to seeing Captain America this weekend. Thunderbolts* upcoming looks really fun, and I’m eager to see more from Fantastic Four. Marvel has been hit and miss in recent years, but I still love going to the cinema to sit back and get lost in their world.

If it happened to United, we’d be livid. Especially harsh on Ruud who’s struggling for results at the moment.
Manchester United advance to the fifth round of the FA Cup thanks to Harry Maguire’s stoppage time winner... a goal that, in all likelihood, would have been ruled out had VAR been in use.

On the one hand, MUFC spending money stupidly is what has gotten them into this untenable situation in the transfer window. Can’t buy properly because of PSR and generally not having the funds.

On the other hand, we have just let two attacking options go in Antony and Rashford. We need help.
February 3, 2025 at 12:22 PM
It’s probably right for all parties that Rashford makes his move away from the club, but it’s still sad. Wish him all the best and hope he finds his form again.

Okay - almost done with the transfer window and Garnacho is still at MUFC…hold firm! Don’t sell!

Rewatching Book of Boba - flawed, yes, but still some awesome Star Wars in there. Hope we get to see more of Temuera Morrison in Star Wars soon…

Regarding Assassins Creed: Shadows - I’m still on the fence, but I’m optimistic. Especially because this bit appeals to me.

I want a little Japanese village of assassins to customise.

Give me more marketing around that, and I’m provably preordering.
January 24, 2025 at 2:29 PM
It’s honestly depressing how low Manchester United might be going. Why on earth are we in a position where we’d even think about selling one of up-and-coming young players? Why are we entertaining the idea of selling him to another Premier League club?? Madness.
Against Rangers, Alejandro Garnacho produced his liveliest display under Ruben Amorim — but was it his final outing at Old Trafford?

PSR be damned, don’t sell Garnacho to another Premier League club.
January 23, 2025 at 9:06 PM
Marvel Rivals still has its hooks in me. Sometimes I’m pretty good, and I’m happy to now have at least one character from each class that I can jump to if needed.

My next targets are to try and learn how to use Groot, Magik and Mantis properly.
January 23, 2025 at 2:04 PM
I find it weird that a a paper like The Guardian, that is meant to be reputable, puts out a “Is this player the worst value-for-money signing in Premier League history?” article. Make it seem like the player is the one who decided the transfer fee and forced United to pay it.
