4. Metal Gear Solid (1998)

You know, at first I was intimidated to play this game since I felt like it would be just frustrating for me but I'm glad I did!
It does have some jank in the gameplay department, but as a whole it's still a very impressive game, especially for the time

Got pretty much no sleep and now I've got the shivers

3. Devil May Cry 5 - Special Edition (2020)

Hands down the best DMC game, if only because of the final stretch
It has the best parts of 3 and 4, and nearly none of the bad parts; this game is a complete package from top to bottom
I just wish I was better at it :(

The whole pushing you to buy DLC to skip grinds is pretty scummy but I do NOT get the other complaints this post tries to bring to the table

2. Dispatch (2025)

I really liked this game
The cel-shaded artstyle is beautiful, the story is really captivating for how simple it is and I love the bonds Robert forms with the different characters
There are def some quirks that a Season 2 could maybe iron out but for now it's a very solid package

It seems the two first books are available in my local library as well so I'm planning to maybe borrow from there first before I commit to buying
