There's like, 30 of these in my city of Racine, WI and my hometown of Kenosha, WI. All mostly good bars with some bad ones mixed in.

My best friend is an active, licensed RN. My mother is a retired LPN with 45+ years experience. The understaffing of nurses is one of the many worst things that have happened in American medicine and I am always outraged. The staff is overworked and the patients suffer. All for the almighty dollar.

As someone who played/DMed when THAC0 was a thing, I always want to argue and be like, "It's just math, like a lot of D&D!"
But, rose-tinted glasses aside, it's dumb and I'm so grateful for "modern" D&D rule's updates. And the OGL did some great things for the entire TTRPG community.

He was a bad candidate for sure. But I still get inarticulately angry when I remember the Young Republicans at UWP campaigning for Dubya with "Kerry is a fairy!" shirts. I got into so many shouting matches with those bigots...
