So, although I'm not a fan, this was a bipartisan expense. Trump only spent $4.3 trillion in 3 years.

Oh, and regarding US debt: In 2020, when the gov response to the outbreak of COVID shut down businesses & caused a sharp rise in unemployment, Congress passed a $2.2 trillion stimulus bill called the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, which Trump signed into law March 2020.
