Don't think you're giving enough credit to Sir Watson-Watt there, it was decisive technology in the 1940 Battle of Britain

I use to work security jobs back then. Sit around a site, walk around every hour, call back to base to inform everything was still there.

I'd draw maps of the warehouses, banks, abandoned factories, and later make Doom ii maps of them 😂

Long before laptops, otherwise the nights would zoomed by

All the shit going on in NZ, and Willis is reaching between the proverbial sofa cushions for spare change.

My dream motor, however my Mrs grew up living on a farm, and holds them in a similar level of disdain that I do the current NZ Govt

I find it really sad, I grew up on Saturday Morning Multi-Coloured Swap Shop, consider that was the last good thing he did, and today hold him in so much disdain

Congrats on the new role!

I went through the redundancy, recruitment cycle this year, I empathise strongly with your experience.

It was my first time in 30 year career of being laid off, and of not walking straight into a job. I agree that without referrals I'd probably still be looking.
