To give benefit of the doubt, I did read on X that it's apparently their name, so maybe they got a messed up email? The email I did get does say June 5, 2025 (and the sentence reads like it)

I got the email and it's definitely the release date. It also says "The release date is scheduled for ____"

I had it preordered and it was $300 + tax (cancelled and imported it via Amazon for less). Sad to see that these go a $50 price increase for what appears to be no reason.
