I can't decide how I feel, either.
Both sides are compelling.
On one hand more revenue is a good thing; hard to hate on that.
On the other hand, it feels like an intentionally deceptive, dark pattern.
Maybe if there was a way to disclose it, it would feel less "slimy"? But then would it even work?
