Had fun with the beginning but as it went on the creativity that I liked dried up, the last 1/3 is just a drier rainbow ride. I liked a lot of the ideas the rooms had but the game is really poor at conveying what you have to do and you get punished for not sight reading the solutions right away 5/10

2.0 is so mindblowingly cool. All the minor complaints I had about the game before were addressed and there's so much more insanely cool additions 10/10

Fun little creepypasta style hack! I found the second world a little confusing to navigate but it was never a big enough problem to really dampen the fun. If you want to chill out with something spooky it gets a thumbs up from me 6/10

Might be the coolest hack I've ever played. Getting every stage done accurately on a console a generation behind while running perfect ON CONSOLE is CRAZY. Mario's movement really blends together SA2's fast paced & explorations based portions to the point where I like it more then the original 8/10

I'd fallen off of Shovel Knight when King of Cards released but man I really missed out. The smaller more focused levels really let King Knight's unique movement shine. I found that unlike Spectre Knight I was using his unique movement options with purpose. Joustus was a fun little distraction 8/10

Great little mystery dungeon style game. Each enemy has their own unique ways of adding new wrinkles to each encounter making the game a lot more about positioning then raw numbers. Going for 100% is too much of a grind so stick to beating the 3 different run types and getting true end 7/10

Yeah turns out when you make a game about the games in mobile ads with sight readable puzzles, you just end up with a bunch of sight readable puzzles. Parking Lot has awful controls. They have timer based star rankings for some reason? You get what's on the tin that's for sure 4/10

Shovel Knight Dig is one of the best and most beautiful rogue-lites ever made. In a sea of Pick 3's and Deckbuilders it was so refreshing playing a skill based action rogue-lite. It's hard but forgiving and the flow of combat and movement mixes perfectly. Truly a game for the Spelunky fans 10/10

Not going to say anything other then do anything you can to play Look Outside. You could wait until 2.0 comes out but it's so good that you'll want to play it again by that point anyway so. Play it. 9/10

DKL:3 is the best of the land series for sure! Levels are fun and original, but the game has really big problems with readability and screen size. I was frequently hitting things or missing platforms just because it was impossible to see 6/10

DKL:2 fixes DKL's momentum problem, but this game's problem is it's faithful to a fault. The level design is better, but that's only because they're diet DKC2 levels. I would have liked to see some more creativity like the first land game! Still had fun 6/10

Donkey Kong Land, while impressive on a technical level, isn't very fun. The Momentum is weird and the level design is basic. Music is about as good as it can be but there's basically no sound effects. I did think Big Ape City was kinda fun though. There's worse ways to spend ~2hrs 5/10

I was constantly surprised at how meaningful the chunk and digging systems were! The freedom they provided along with the complex movement led to incredible moment to moment gameplay that carried even some of the game's more tedious moments. Pauline and DK's relationship is soooo cute too 9/10
