It’s one of the most consistent seasons for sure, but a notch below Murray’s 2016 (he reached 13 finals which is ridiculous, sinner reached 9 in 2024). And Murray’s best season is a notch (or more) below big 3’s best seasons. I think Sinner’s 2024 is very comparable to Sampras’ 1994.

Doping controversy aside, Murray’s 2016 was far better in terms of level and consistency. The only comparable thing are their accomplishments (trophies) and even then I’d give it to Murray despite winning one slam fewer.
