Finally rolled credits on Limbo for the first time today, even though I had played it many times before. Hauntingly beautiful but sometimes frustrating experience. Love the idea of the physics-based puzzles and the complete lack on on screen instructions or guides. Very artful experience overall.

Just cancelled gamepass. It sucks because I really like it and it’s a great value, but I’d rather give my money to companies that value their people. If they can get their act together and stop the insanity I’d be more than happy to rejoin, but it’s bye for now.

Fighting Alma today in the original Ninja Gaiden on Xbox. Used The Duke controller for the first time and it was certainly an experience. 😅

I FINALLY got the Platinum in Stellar Blade. I was missing two camps for the final trophy and turns out they were in an optional area of Eidos 9 that I hadn’t visited before. Who knew?

I played the Ninja Gaiden Ragebound demo on Steam and it’s a lot of fun! So far the game looks and plays great, and it even has a CRT filter for added nostalgia. The controls feel very smooth. Overall it’s shaping up to be a great entry in the series.

Rolled credits on Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo 🙌 so glad the game came to Gamepass. Review coming soon but totally recommend playing it. Just don’t rush through it.

I rolled credits on Song of the Deep 🐠 this morning. Sure there were a few little glitches here and there but I didn’t encounter anything that justifies some of the lore scores I’ve seen. Will be publishing my own review soon. Overall a beautiful game.

Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo recently launched on gamepass and it’s such a great looking game. Screenshots do not do it justice. It’s a paper mario-like visual style and looks great. Writing is funny and just really cozy overall. Really liking it.

Latest copy of Edge magazine arrived today. Such a damn Good magazine. Highly recommend anyone who likes gaming subscribe, but especially if you long for the good old days of gaming magazines.

Allegedly (according to the reviews) Song of the Deep is mid but I haven’t reached that point yet. So far it’s still beautiful and incredible.

Just when I thought video game magazines would never be great again, I found Edge magazine. Leave it to the UK to produce one of the best gaming mags I’ve ever seen, and in 2025 no less. Everything about it is top tier: design, writing and print quality are the best I’ve ever seen.
