You see some of the worst of it on Reddit. People show off their “haul” where they bring back entire suitcases of Japanese games they got fleeced on in a tourist hotspot, like it’s a badge of honour

Even if you’re at home, unless you live alone, blasting video on speaker around the house sounds insufferable. If you care enough about whatever it is you’re watching or listening to, I don’t understand why you wouldn’t use headphones - it sounds better AND you’re not bothering everyone around you

I almost see it as a good thing if phones have quiet, low quality speakers. There are very few use cases where people should be using speakerphone to begin with, and too many people misuse it and are a nuisance to other people. There’s a real sense of entitlement people have towards it.

What annoys me is that there IS potential to make the content of Infinity Castle work as a movie. But it would require an artistic vision, and a willingness to restructure the manga content in a way that works for cinema.

They didn't do that. They just put anime in a movie theatre.
