That's because the current administration doesn't give a shit about us. They are self-serving, greedy monsters, & someone (probably multiple people) in this administration is either directly profiting from data brokering, or is receiving bribes from someone who is. Anything they can do to screw us.

Right? Same here. I tried to see an endocrinologist, my doctor sent them my labs, and they said "he's fine." Now that I'm treating my weight with Wegovy and my anxiety with prozac, I have energy and am losing weight. I feel better than I have in a long time.

I have hypothyroidism and could never lose weight no matter what I did, even though my thyroid levels are all at normal levels. I started taking Wegovy about a year ago, can finally lose weight, and my blood pressure and cholesterol stabilized. Talk to your doctor, not some internet naysayer.

This just isn't true for everyone (source: someone who actually has hypothyroidism and has done plenty of research on the subject.)

They don't cover Ozempic. There are other forms that are covered. I was denied for Ozempic, but approved for Wegovy, which is the same medication, made by the same company, just with a different name. It's absurd.

Honestly, the world could have done WAY worse! He's not as progressive as Francis was, but he's definitely against the Trump level right-wing worldview. He's already called out JD Vance in just the last few hours and is strongly in favor of curbing man-made climate change.
