It's assault (and justified assault in my opinion), but it's not the same as systemic violence against women. This was an act done in protest againt a system that was victimizing and oppressing LGBTQIA+ people. Who's equivocating here? You're entirely dishonest, this is obviously not the same thing.

The pie to the face "with his whole arm" was not motivated by her being a woman, her being a woman in that context is irrelevant. This was at a conference where she was talking about her plans to open a line of gay conversion centers. Violence against women is a systemic issue- that pie was not it.

The dude is responsible for the deaths and suffering of thousands, he hoards wealth while preying on people in a rigged system, he was an evil dragon and now he's been slain.

Hoarding wealth while damaging the world around you, that sounds like a dragon to me, and slaying dragons isn't murder.
