They're choux pastry filled w/ cinnamon swirl cake batter, baked, then brushed with butter and rolled in cinnamon and sugar, and finally topped w/ chocolate ganache. They're absolutely delightful to eat, like a tender little bite of cake wrapped in a tender, fresh churro.

Elaine Parks and I made some fun beehives for Candace Garlock's Honeycomb Project. We made a honeycomb with busy bees and a playa with fairy shrimp! I knit both backgrounds using the same stitch in the same yarn, just different colors. Elaine sculpted the fantastic little critters.

This hat is made of the softest yarn using a technique called brioche. I've done several brioche projects, but I learned a new stitch for this one that makes this complicated-looking knit pattern actually pretty easy to do.
