I'm just this guy, getting old enough to not know what's up, but still trying. He/him (see?)

Best wishes to her, and I hope he's reporting accurately.

Which reminds me, how's he doing? No issues turned up since the accident?

Geez, I hope he's okay.
Current cars are wonderful at keeping the occupants safe -though the cars tend to look awful afterwards, it's rather deceptive. (Remembering how my wife's car looked after an accident she'd been in. Not a scratch on her, but the car looked torn in half.)

In the meantime, a heat wave is heading across Australia. There will likely be records broken by mid-week.

Nope.
The last tech advance I can recall that was genuinely useful would have been solid state drives. Everything I can think of after (NFTs, bitcoin, LLM "AI") have all been scams.

I suppose the next question is if they are as effective - range, volume, etc. - as regular whistles.
Not that creeping out thugs isn't worthwhile in its own right, of course.

I wonder if it's possible to 3D print the Aztec Death Whistle?

It's funny how cheap little things like that can be so well done.
