Software Engineer at Red Hook Studios working on Darkest Dungeon II. Plays all the games. My opinions are my own. (He/Him)
Look dawg, Dreams of Another is a weird-ass game but more people should have played the latest game from Dylan Cuthbert, the programmer of Star Fox.

Wow, woof this Silksong gauntlet was a lot. I’ve been stuck on this for days.

Post a movie you like with a terrible rotten tomatoes score.

I think the Max Payne games were the first to use Photogrammetry. I think MP2 holds up pretty well in stills.

Wow, it's wild to learn that Arc System Works used the exact same hack we ended up using on Darkest Dungeon II for extruding outlines.

Dear me, I was… from Taisuke Kanasaki, the Art Director of Hotel Dusk, is even less interactive than I would have expected.

But I’m a sucker for the A-ha style rotoscoping with wiggly shading and the story is pretty cute.

$10 if you have a Switch 2 and don’t mind slow slice-of-life stories.

I’m unconvinced realistic graphics need to look any better than DS2

Peak Mountains, Peak Baby rendering.

I never finished the original Death Stranding in 2019. Playing through the Director’s Cut at my Dad’s place has been fun.

It’s weird unique Triple-A Alpine Hiking gameplay has a certain appeal to both of us.

I hear I’m ~6 hrs from its end and I’m here for all its rumination on death bullshit.

Can confirm that despite Nintendo lack of commitment the GameCube controller does just work like a Switch Pro Controller in non-GameCube games.

I’ve never seen a LEGO Build step have an illustration of “No dummy, don’t put it backwards” before.

Monster Hunter Wilds update seems cool so far. I think I like the Mizutsune more than Rise.

My first time getting carted in this game actually, during it's rage mode.

The in joke for Avowed writers definitely seems to be the frequency of "[Stare off in the distance]" stage direction prompts 😄

I bounced off the first game but Citizen Sleeper 2 really has it's hooks in me. Love building a crew, jetting through the stars and taking on high stakes contracts.

It really feels like Mass Effect 2 meets a visual novel with dice.

It's a modern day Clippy prompt and it has none of the charm.

The entire eShop works like Rusty’s Real Deal Baseball where you need to haggle with a loveable mascot for better prices

Finished Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. I think it narrowly beats out Astro Bot as my Game of the Year.

Its structure evokes great immersive stealth games like Deus Ex, with fun and messy physics based hand-to-hand combat and true reverence for its source material.

If this follows the Fast & Furious trajectory, Sonic 5 is going to be a banger, Sonic 7 will be a mess but weirdly poignant with a fun Kurt Russell cameo and Sonic X will be an echo of it's former self.

Well apparently if you made a gay 2D souls-like with some cards I'm already playing it.
