— (with a little over a year left on my current contract) and I grew up with a retired military parent, which was their whole personality including talking shit about the other branches (besides "playful" ig, banter with their coworkers that were in the other branches)

— close that they're on first name basis with each other, but other military personnel that don't know the MSgt like that straight up calling him Sgt (or introducing himself as a Sgt to them) is just...wrong.

It also bugs me cuz even tho I never mention this, I myself am currently in the military —
