Schenkerian analysis of "Baby Shark"

Years ago, I drew a portrait of an amazing woman full of musical references. "You Can’t Always Get What You Want" is there because she had been conducting that with the Rolling Stones on their 50th anniversary tour. If you try sometimes, you get what you want and need. Happy 10th anniversary!

I did examples 1 and 2 using Finale when I was in grad school. My memory is that for Example 2, I actually drew in lines using Mac Preview because I didn't have image editing software back then.

Wicked composer Stephen Schwartz composed an Easter egg in Defying Gravity. The "unlimited" motif traces the same line as "Somewhere over the Rainbow." This connection makes a lot more sense than how "We Are the Champions" uses the notes of the bassoon solo from Stravinsky's Rite of Spring.
