Fuck. Yes. Good things are possible.

As someone who's a huge fan of Irish folklore (and accents!), The Séance Of Blake Manor is hitting all the right notes.

Let's see if he shows up.

I really want to like Chained Echoes. I heard it was a neat 16-bit RPG throwback with a good story, but it's just too many ideas that aren't given the attention or weight they merit.

Just finished up Starter Villain by @scalzi.com, and man, sometimes a book just hits the spot. Exactly what I wanted and needed at the moment. Breezy, fun, annoyed my cat by laughing too hard. What more can you ask?

The Final Fantasy Tactics remake is really clicking with me. I don't know if it's the new translation or the superb voice acting, but I'm really appreciating it as if I were experiencing it for the first time.

Just started the excellent Alan Wake 2, and now all these Silent Hill f reviews look stellar. It looks like I'm about to go deep into some horror.

At some point Silksong passed from fun into infuriatingly difficult. Requiring far too much traversal/achievement before a checkpoint, or enemies that take way too many hits. Slowly entering the slog phase.

Agree. Seasons 5 and 7 are personal favorites, and all the episodes are free on Youtube.
For real if you guys need something fun and silly to watch you pretty much can’t go wrong with Taskmaster. I got into the UK version with season 19 to watch Jason Mantzoukas and now I’m like 8 series in across the various versions

I've always liked Lindsay Ellis, but her latest just devastated me.

I have been around for a very long time.

@robzacny.bsky.social Based on your mention on AMCA, tried out Lone Star this weekend, and goddamn that was a good movie. Thanks so much for turning me on to it.

This removed my hesitation, and I cancelled my GamePass subscription. Can't look away any longer.
I know a lot of you have already heard or read about BDS Movement's call against Microsoft, and felt weird and bad about it all, but decided to move forward as normal because of some degree of ambiguity.

"What service is Microsoft providing?"

Here it is, clear as day. A direct line to death.

I am at a wedding in Jersey for a Staten Island couple, and the accents are exquisite.

Had a conversation with folks at work today who didn't know that JK Rowling was vehemently anti-trans. They seemed shocked to discover this.

For as widely known as that is, there really are a lot of people who are outside of the bubble, really surprised me.

There aren't as many people as foundational to my music tastes as Ozzy. Calling him a titan doesn't even come close.

I really wish I liked Dustborn more. Its heart is in the right place, but there's just so much in there (mechanics, characters, dialogue, themes) that it becomes incredibly muddled and tough to parse. Damned shame.

On the Amtrak heading home, and a dude literally just broke out a guitar to flirt with a group of college girls. Perverse, but got to admire the hustle.
