I'm reminded of an old post bout why real spacecraft have a ton of buttons and dials instead of touch screens like in sci-fi, cuz touch screens are imprecise and delicate and if that bitch breaks you're just SOL. Buttons are more durable and less prone to user error. No accidental self-destructs lol

I genuinely enjoyed Q Force lol. It was nice to watch something that made so little effort to cater to a cishet audience. A lot of jokes and references that a straight wouldn't really get. Like it's intentionally not speaking their dialect. Not award winning, but def nice to have

I know that song and I don't like it! What I wouldn't give to survive off of five hours of sleep. I'm lucky to not have seasonal allergies, but I work 9 hour days so I don't get to enjoy all the mud and rain much anyways :/ Still much better than ice though!

Gosh I could write an essay on BotW vs TotK. BotW just has such immaculate vibes, TotK's are Fine. Tears is actually a great game, but when you naturally stack it up against a well-trod juggernaut like BotW, it can't help but fall short. Tears lacks the magic feeling that BotW fully dripped with IMO

Like, Fusion is also very linear and very blunt about where you're going, but you still need to figure out how to get there. Dread doesn't hold your hand so much as it ushers you around like a tour guide

To me it feels too clean in a sense. It's so well structured and ordered; even the sequence breaks are very cleanly implemented and blatantly intentional, not so much sequence breaks as just alternate sequences. It doesn't feel like there's a lot of exploring.

Oh yeah deffo, sometimes it looks like a straight up palette swap of a traditional straight couple lol, a uke can def fulfill that role, but I think since both members are the same gender, it's less of a "compulsory" sort of thing, if that makes sense

A theory I heard recently is that a lot of women who create/consume slash/yaoi content enjoy it because it removes inherent traditional gender dynamics of a hetero pairing. That's def not true for every piece of yaoi/fujoshi-type media, but the lack of expectations is part of the appeal for many
