Been painting some x files screencaps as I’ve been watching the show on the cheapest watercolor paper I’ve ever used. I really love the blooms and way the paint is running together.

thanks for sharing these paintings. I think we'd all be better off if we took a moment to think about paintings more often. This one I saw in Ireland earlier this year by Louis le Brocquy has been stuck in my head.

This is like an even dumber version of "The Circle" and it's kind of crazy how their logos even look similar.

I'm getting real into iron oxide washes. These two pieces were both finished to cone 6 with just a little bit of iron oxide on top.

First painting in a series to try to improve my ability to see and mix colors. A book from the library recommended to “start” 100 paintings just trying to grab the basic shapes and colors. Gonna try it and see what happens. “1”
