thanks for sharing these paintings. I think we'd all be better off if we took a moment to think about paintings more often. This one I saw in Ireland earlier this year by Louis le Brocquy has been stuck in my head.

I'm getting real into iron oxide washes. These two pieces were both finished to cone 6 with just a little bit of iron oxide on top.
