Finally, I will explain why I'm banning Mana Crypt on Quick Battle! Mana Crypt is meant for formats with commanders, and four of these plus a land equals nine mana; enough to cast a Portal to Phyrexia on your first turn.
Despite Mana Crypt's hefty 3 damage to the player by losing a coin flip for each Mana Crypt in play, it can be cast for free and can add two silver mana for each Mana Crypt. Portal to Phyrexia, for example, can be cast on the first turn, with four copies of Mana Crypt and a land, creating a devastating combo; even if the opponent has three copies of Ornithopter. Another day, another ban explanation. Flash will be banned on Quick Battle because it can create problematic plays, like when you put Summon: Bahamut, for example, which can destroy a permanent, just for two mana.
Flash can put expensive spells onto the battlefield, thanks to its rule text. Summon: Bahamut's Chapters 1 and 2 abilities, for example, can destroy any nonland permanent by using Flash by paying 2 mana. This is the full ban list so far. Follow for more information.

Make that a triple for today! Lotus Petal will be banned on Quick Battle because it can deliberately be used in many combos, such as with Oni-Cult Anvil, for example. Please note that Lotus Petal can also be applied in many other ways as well.

Today will be a double hitter this time. Field of the Dead will be banned because of its third ability, where it can create a free token. This card can combo alongside cards like Gisa, the Hellraiser, for example.

Field of the Dead is very powerful due to how it can create 2/2 zombies if you have seven or more lands. This is a 2/2 zombie token that can appear in zombie decks. Hello there, everyone! The reason Dig Through Time will be banned is because of its many abilities. I have come to this decision to cards like many of the Mythic Rare cards, for example. The same is true for mill and control decks.
Dig Through Time's Delve ability reduces the mana cost while exiling cards from your graveyard, making it powerful for mill and control decks. Here is a full list of cards to be banned in August 2025. Follow for more information.

I decided to ban Chrome Mox because of the two abilities provided in the card. Due to its Imprint ability and tap ability, I've had to make this decision.

Chrome Mox's two abilities are very powerful in their own right. The Imprint ability removes cards in your hand from the game. The other ability creates mana from the imprinted card. This is the full ban list for the Quick Battle Format for August 2025.

I'm banning Channel on Quick Battle because cards like Ghalta below, for example, can be cast too quickly for the format. The ban is mainly due to Channel's ramp ability, as to where lethal combos can be made.

Channel has a huge ramp ability that can cast expensive spells quickly, such as Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The mentioned example of Ghalta, Primal Hunger is mainly due to how Channel can essentially cast expensive mana costs. This is the full ban list for August 2025. I'm sorry for not giving you this information, but the reason Sheoldred, the Apocalypse is because of additional rule 3 of the Quick Battle Format. Just want to clarify this to all of you.
Sheoldred's abilities, where you draw cards, are likely to be exploited; to where opponents can lose even more life on the Draw Phase, and players gaining more life than on other formats. Please note that Additional Rule 3 in this image can be exploited with Sheoldred, The Apocalypse. Due to this, I have to ban this card.
