i know a large part of their player base is in china, so it couldve been some statistics about people spending more money on more fanservice-y banners, so maybe they just decided to keep making em.

that's totally fair. i do wish they'll start veering away from the fanservice a bit, but unfortunately right now i guess we'll have to deal with it until they decide its been enough. 😭

its not like genshin has never made characters for fanservice. the aether harem has been a thing since the start of the game, its definitely not just natlan
