If you ever feel like in art you might be too heavily referencing someone else's work- as hard as rejection sensitivity is, with all the AI/straight grifts out there rn it is The Best time to just communicate with the source artist- in my personal experience it is refreshing to hear someone ask.

Lots of my fellow artists & animators don't realize this, but you actually have to TRAIN to get motivated to be creative!
Motivation usually doesn't come from thin air, you have to actually start drawing and keep up the drawing to keep the motivation TO draw alive!! 🤡💚
