A picture of Lan Wangji as a chinese-style dragon. He has a white body with very light cyan markings, and is fluffy but his fur seems under control. He is breathing out swirls of light. A picture of Wei Wuxian as a chinese-style dragon. He has a black body and a large portion of his wild, out of control fur is black too. His whiskers, and underbelly, as well as paws/feet are a deep crimson. His fluff is mostly in a mane around his neck and looks wild and out of control. He is breathing clouds of resentful energy from his nose. He's also smirking, and looks a bit cocky.

A violet-backed starling, looking to the right, with its back to the camera. It is perched on a sturdy branch. A Japanese Paradise Flycatcher. It has a beautiful blue circle around its eye. It is facing to the left, back slightly turned to the camera. A long stick splits the image in half diagonally, which the bird is perched on. A Purple Gallinule. It is facing to the right, in profile. Honestly it looks a bit like a rubber chicken in body shape, with long legs for wading. it has a stunning bright red beak.

Their colouration is similar to these birds:
