Carmel HS Marching Band out here at BOA with no field mics, no little stages for chamber ensembles, and no fill speakers. Just a couple solo mics and good old fashioned breath support. And they had the loudest, clearest woodwinds I’ve heard all night.

This marching band has 11 students marching dots, and an on-field judge still managed to get in the way.😂

Enjoying some Bands of America Grand National Prelims tonight. Avon Marching Band had a great run. Can anyone catch them? I’m curious to hear the Wando and the Texas bands tonight.

Grades are not a zero sum game. That would be an irresponsible way to assess students. Over 100 students took my final exam last year, and the average score was an A-. I didn’t “hand out too many As,” I just prepared the students well for their assessment. #EduSky

I distinctly remember Trump supporters storming the Capitol and stabbing police officers with a flag pole that was bearing the Stars and Stripes. How about we all be honest with the fact that every political ideology has its extremists, and violence is bad no matter what side you are on?
